Resist Stitch is an itinerant workshop created by Shirin Towfiq which has been hosted by the San Diego Art Institute and Urban Outfitters Space 15 Twenty.
The workshop invites participants to sew a shirt out of one piece of fabric with a banner connected at the seam. There they can write a message that connects to other user’s shirts by a single button, creating unified human walls which occupy space.
